Does the security still fit the building?
Review access needs, operating hours, protected areas and system requirements against the building’s current use.
Existing Building Security Assurance
We help asset owners, facilities managers and organisations with multiple sites understand existing security arrangements, plan upgrades and keep improvement work on track.
Discuss building assuranceMake the next priority clear
Buildings change through occupancy, refurbishments and day to day operation. Security requirements and system records need to keep pace.
Review access needs, operating hours, protected areas and system requirements against the building’s current use.
Identify recorded failures, maintenance gaps, unsupported equipment and missing evidence that could affect continued operation.
Separate urgent corrective work from staged upgrades, with dependencies and indicative effort or costs where available.
Use a consistent review structure to track site requirements, completed actions and remaining gaps at agreed intervals.
A useful building record
The scope can cover a single building, a planned refurbishment or a defined portfolio. We agree the review questions and evidence needed before starting.
The agreed requirements, available system records, operating context and evidence limitations.
Maintenance, support, resilience and operational issues linked to the supplied evidence.
Recommended corrective work, staged improvements and dependencies for your investment planning.
Periodic checks of actions, changes and completion evidence where ongoing assurance is agreed.
Evidence from the building
We review system documents, maintenance records, authorised test results and observations from your site team or appointed specialists.
Reported conditions are distinguished from verified findings. Missing or inaccessible information is recorded so the owner can decide what needs further investigation.
When local inspection or testing is needed, we can help organise a suitable provider under a separate appointment. Consultancy, physical works and responsibility for accepting actions are defined in the scope.
A developing assessment method
Our separate pilot methodology is being developed to connect control performance, evidence coverage, risk and investment priorities. It explores how comparable assessments can support asset and portfolio decisions.
Pilot participation is agreed separately. The method is still being calibrated and is not a validated benchmark or certification.
